Nobel Prize for Obama is equivalent to the Oscar for a promising yet flop film

Obama, the 44th President of the most powerful country on the planet has just been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for apparently what seems to be a ton of promises yet to be fulfiled. The following video depicts the apparent reasons for awarding Obama a prize which was once shared by personalities like Mother Teresa and Nelson Mandela.

According to the Nobel Committee, Obama has shown potential to resolve international issues with dialogue and negotiations instead of force and thus deserve the honour. Well quite frankly, if you ask me, I always thought that the kid got the candy after being tortured by the dentist and not before that. So why on Earth is the world’s most honourable award given for promises and not actual work. Even supermodels pledge for peace every now and then, so is the next Nobel Peace Laureate going to be Lara Dutta or Aishwarya Rai?
